Must Try

Reports from TheGamer revealed that Sony will shut down the Playstation 3, Playstation Vita and Playstation Portable online stores later this year.

The Playstation 3 and Playstation Portable online stores will shut down on July 2, 2020, and the Playstation Vita will shut down on August 27, 2020.

It’s no surprise to the news of Sony’s closing of the online store, as Sony is currently focusing more on the Playstation 4 and the Playstation 5. And the old backward system seems to be limited, unlike Microsoft did with Xbox, but at least playing older Playstation games still have Playstation Now support here.

As for the matter of portable games There is no news that Sony will come back in the market. After quite a bit of success from the Playstation Vita, which is a continuation of the success of Playstation Portable

The Playstation Portable was first released in Japan on December 12, 2004 and is available worldwide. In March 2005, it sold more than 82 million units, a success for Sony to capture the portable gaming market. And received a great response from all over the world.

Sony’s flagship Playstation 3 was first released in Japan on November 11, 2006, and North America followed closely on November 17, 2006, worldwide on March 23, 2007. Two models to choose from, 20 GB and 60 GB, sold 87.4 million units.
