Must Try

As the world falls into the clutches of the Covid19 pandemic in 2020, e-learning platforms are beginning to gain unprecedented momentum. Today, e-learning has become the new normal, and the question of how many Internet and e-learning platforms everyone can access has been raised.
According to a survey conducted by the World Bank in 2011, it is estimated that about 15% of the world’s population has received specialized training. Companies must invest time and resources to make online training and e-learning accessible to all users, regardless of their ability or situation.
Considering the increased use of the Internet and e-learning platforms, many countries have incorporated network accessibility into their existing civil rights legislation or created new legislation.
At BrainCert, we have been committed to making our unified training platform open to everyone, allowing you to create an inclusive training and development environment for all users, regardless of their abilities.
We have improved web accessibility and established web content accessibility guidelines 2.1 AA (WCAG 2.1 AA) as the standard for our unified training platform. What is the real meaning of
WCAG?
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) is a set of guidelines and recommendations required by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The goal is to allow all types of users to access Web content as much as possible.
WCAG 2.1AA defines how to make it easier for people with a wide range of disabilities to access online content, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disorders. How does
BrainCert comply with WCAG 2.1AA?
BrainCert is fully committed to providing its users with a unified website and training platform that can be accessed by the widest audience regardless of their situation and ability. BrainCert’s AllInOne unified training platform has AI-driven UI adjustment tools that can be accessed and modified according to individual user needs. All settings comply with WCAG 2.1 AA and AAA requirements.
Some of the web accessibility compliance guidelines that we follow include:
1. Alternate text-provide alternative text for any non-text content so that it can be changed to other forms that people need, such as big letters, braille, speech, Simple language.
2. Non-text content: All non-text content presented to users has an alternative text, which can achieve the same purpose
3. Time-based media: Provide alternatives to time-based media.
4. Adaptable: Create content that can be presented in different ways (such as simpler layouts) without losing information or structure.
5. Distinguishable – Makes it easy for users to see and hear content, including separating the foreground from the background.
6. Subtitles (pre-recorded)-Provide subtitles for all pre-recorded audio content on synchronized media, unless the media is an alternative to text and has been clearly marked as such.
7. Subtitles (Live): Provide subtitles for all live audio content on synchronized media.
8. Navigable-Provides methods to help users navigate, find content, and determine their location.
In addition, the BrainCert website uses an artificial intelligence-based application that runs in the background and continuously optimizes its accessibility level. This application corrects the HTML of the website to adapt its functions and behaviors to screen readers used by blind users and keyboard functions used by people with limited mobility.
Although we have set WCAG 2.1 as the standard, we are also fully compliant with ADA Article 3, Section 508, EAA, ACA, AODA and IS5568.
Summary
At present, most countries in the world regard network accessibility as a basic right and require companies to strictly abide by WCAG 2.1 guidelines. If the company does not comply with current web content accessibility guidelines, the company will be liable for legal proceedings.
